Lyndsey Hughes is an art nouveau-inspired artist from northeastern Pennsylvania. Her works draw heavily upon the style popularized by Alphonse Mucha with truly modern twists.
Lyndsey’s watercolor paintings often include color-shifting paints that make the piece change as viewers move around a room, gilded edges to attract attention from anywhere they’re displayed, and more unique elements to build truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
As an avid consumer of pop culture, her smaller pieces often draw from television and movies to elicit excitement from fans of her work and the source material alike.
Lyndsey is married and has two wonderful children. She’s still trying to figure out how to become a mermaid one day, but her shellfish allergy is getting in the way.
